Here is a tutorial on how to crochet a little star. The yarn I used in this tutorial is worsted-weight, and the crochet hook I used is 7/0 – 4.0mm (G). If you wish to use other kinds of yarn and a matching crochet hook, you are welcome to do so.

7/0 – 4.0mm (G) crochet hook
Tapestry needle, scissors, glue
ABBREVIATIONS (US Crochet Terms)
st(s): stitch(es)
sl st: slip stitch
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
hdc: half double crochet
It’s time to get started!
Round 1: Make a Magic Ring, then sc 10. Pull the yarn tail to close the ring. [total 10 sts]
Round 2: {Chain 4, slip stitch in the 2nd stitch from hook, sc in the next stitch, hdc in the next stitch, skip 1 stitch and slip stitch in the next stitch of Round 1.} repeat 4 times.
Take the yarn tail and cut it. Hide it with a tapestry needle.
