Prepare yellow, orange, green, brown, and dark-brown
Crochet hook that matches with your yarn
Fiberfill
Tapestry needle
Scissors
Glue
Stick or wire for the stem
Floral tape (green paper tape) to bind wired and taped leaves together

sl st: slip stitch
MR: Magic Ring
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
dc: double crochet
tr: triple crochet
inc: increase (make 2 sc in the same space)

Notes
Join each round with a slip stitch

Pattern for Sunflower

Use orange yarn.
R1: In a Magic Ring, ch 1. Sc 6 [total 6 sts]
R2: Ch 1. Inc x6 [12 sts]
R3: Ch 1. (Sc, inc) x6 [18 sts]
R4: Ch 1. (Sc, sc, inc) x6 [24 sts]
R5: Ch 1. (Sc, sc, sc, inc) x6 [30 sts]
Cut the yarn. Join with invisible stitch.

Make 1 more using green yarn.
Combine the orange and green seeds (circles) with the right sides facing outwards.

Attach the yellow yarn to both circles, start making petals.
Pattern for petal (3 spaces):
1st space: (ch 1, hdc)
2nd space: (dc, tr, ch 2, sl st on top of tr, dc)
3rd space: (hdc, sl st)
Repeat these pattern until we have total 10 petals. Remember to insert the fiberfill.

Pattern for Leaves

Note: I used smaller crochet hook to make the leaves.
With green yarn, ch 15.
Start from 2nd loop from hook: sl st, sc, hdc 2, dc, tr 2, dc 3, hdc, sc, sl st 2.
(hdc 2 means hdc in next 2 stitches)
Ch 1, turn (hide the yarn tail).
Sl st 2, sc, hdc, dc 3, tr 2, dc, hdc 2, sc, sl st.
Cut the yarn.
