ABBREVIATIONS (US Crochet Terms)

st(s): stitch(es)
sl st: slip stitch
MR: Magic Ring
R: Round
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
[#]: number of stitch(es) in a round
inc: increase (make 2 sc in the same space)
dec: decrease (sc2tog)
hdc: half-double crochet
dc: double-crochet

Use Invisible Decrease for better result. Using invisible decrease (dec) instead of sc2tog is recommended when making amigurumi; you can’t even tell that the stitches are decreasing. To do Invisible Decrease, insert hook through front loop of the first stitch, then through the front loop of the next stitch (3 loops on hook). Yarn over and draw through the first two loops on the hook (2 loops on hook now). Yarn over and draw through both loops on the hook. Invisible decrease completed.

Notes:
– Finished size: 9x9x3.5 cm
– The pattern is worked continuously in the round unless otherwise stated.
– Use stitch marker to mark first stitch in a round.

Light-brown yarn
Make a slip knot, then ch 36.
Join in the round.
R1-5: sc in each st around [total 36 sts]
R6: (sc 2, dec, sc 2) x6 [30]
R7: (dec, sc 3) x6 [24]
R8: (sc, dec, sc) x6 [18]
In the last stitch of R8, join the pink yarn.
R9: sc in each st around [total 18 sts]
R10: (sc, inc, sc) x6 [24]
R11: (inc, sc 3) x6 [30]
R12: (sc 2, inc, sc 2) x6 [36]
R13: sc in each st around [36]
R14 (last row): sc in each st around; randomly add “dripping glaze effect” by making 2 dcs or 2 hdcs in a stitch.
Cut the yarn.

Cut pink yarn about 100cm, use tapestry needle to sew the donut. Insert poly fiber while you sew.
Start from the edge of light brown, connect it to the sc of the pink.
Connect the edge of hdc/dc of pink to the second row of the light-brown.
